I'm stuck here beside a tiberium mine

My cat loved that tree, I'll never know why
It bathed her in numerous mutating rays
She doubled in size, I was starting to worry
'Til her voice in my head said "All is okay!"
Soon thousands of cats came to laze by my tree
The neighbours pretended that nothing was wrong (o/~)
But I didn't care, I was starting to crack
My sanity wept when they burst into song
